History of pop music introduction
So, for those who are new here (which is all of you reading if you are reading this soon after I published this), hi. I put out album reviews sometimes, I'll review current pop music and I'm also doing this, (again, will be doing this, for those who are viewing this right when I publish it). This is a series chronicling the big hits throughout all of pop music history, starting at the point of when Billboard started publishing the hot 100. I rank the top 20 songs each month and tier them out using this system. 6/5: All time great songs 5/5: Great Songs 4/5: Good Songs 3/5: OK songs 2/5: Bad Songs 1/5: Awful Songs 0/5: All time awful songs When I get done with a year I list the best and worst hit songs of the year based on the year end hot 100. Note: I don't have any sort of schedule for this and I will probably get bored of it. Just letting you know so you aren't disappointed when I don't finish it (who knows, maybe I will).
